Kategorie: Cornrow Braided Wigs

A cornrow wig gives you neat, flat rows without hours in a salon chair. The cornrows are already braided on a lace cap, so you put the wig on and go. Take it off at night and wear it again tomorrow.

Cornrow wig styles

  • Cornrows with knotless box braids: flat rows at the front that turn into long knotless braids.
  • Double Dutch cornrows: raised rows that lead into braids or faux locs.
  • Small square parts: fine, graphic parts with cornrows at the front.
  • Jumbo cornrows: thick, bold rows with jumbo box braids behind them.
  • Side part and middle part: choose a part that frames your face.
  • Cornrow bobs: 14 inch styles that are light and quick to wear.

Lengths run from 14 to 36 inches. Colours include natural black (1B), 1B27 honey blonde mix, 1B30 ginger, 1B burgundy and 613 blonde.

Choosing a cap

A lace front cornrow wig has lace at the hairline, so the front looks natural. A full lace cap lets you part the braids anywhere and tie them up. A 360 lace cap has lace all around the head, which suits a high ponytail or bun. Many styles come with baby hair at the hairline.

Cornrow wig vs installed cornrows

Installed cornrows take hours and stay in for weeks. They pull on the scalp and edges. A wig gives you the same look with no tension, and you switch styles whenever you like.

Check the fibre grade

Each product page lists the fibre. High temperature synthetic and Kanekalon take the hot water setting for the braid ends. Low temperature fibre does not, so keep heat tools away from it. Read wig fibres explained before you style.

Care

  • Keep the wig on a stand between wears.
  • Wash rarely, in cool water with a mild shampoo, and air dry fully.
  • Smooth flyaways at the front with a little mousse.
  • At night, remove the wig or wrap it in a satin bonnet.

Frequently asked questions

Do cornrow wigs look natural?

Lace front and full lace caps give a natural hairline. Baby hair and a blended lace edge finish the look.

Are cornrow wigs heavy?

Long styles weigh more. Jumbo braids and 36 inch lengths feel heavier than a 14 inch bob. If weight matters, choose a shorter length.

Do I need glue to wear one?

Most caps here have adjustable straps and combs, so you wear them without glue. Check the cap details on each product page.

Should I sleep in a cornrow wig?

It is better not to. Sleeping in a wig adds friction and strains the lace. Take it off at night and store it on a stand.
