Caring for curly wigs

  • Detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, never a brush on dry curls.
  • Wash with a moisturising shampoo and leave in plenty of conditioner.
  • Refresh curls with water and a light curl cream, then let them air dry.
  • Sleep with a satin bonnet or store the wig on a stand to keep the curl pattern.

Frequently asked questions

Human hair or synthetic curly wig?

Human hair curls can be straightened and re-curled and last longer with care. Synthetic curls hold their pattern after washing with no styling, which makes them low effort.

Why do curly wigs look thinner than straight ones at the same density?

Curls shrink, so the same amount of hair sits shorter and closer to the head. Choose a higher density or a longer length if you want more volume.
